A little over a week ago, Julia lost her front, top tooth! That's right folks, her smile is now changed forever! It's the third tooth she's lost, but this has been the hardest one for me for sure! The bottom ones were not that noticeable, you know? But, now her old baby toothed smile is gone...replaced by that cute snaggle-toothed one we now are getting used to.
She told Nate she was ready for him to pull it. He got the floss tied around it. Just when he was ready to pull it, she changed her mind and said she didn't want him to pull it after all. Then, she started saying she would pull it. She gave the floss a good tug a couple times. Nate told her he'd be happy to pull it for her if she'd like him too. She decided she just really wasn't ready to have it pulled. But, then, while she was looking at herself in the mirror and seeing what it looked like when she gave the floss a good yank...the tooth came out! So, she pulled her tooth out HERSELF! We all heard it clank around against the door before it fell to the floor. Thankfully, Nate found it (and not Simon).

We were all excited for her. Look at her showing Liliana! I think that's so cute!
She called her grandparents to tell them the good news.
She was so very excited and happy!

She wanted to be able to keep the tooth, so she wrote a letter to the tooth fairy, asking her to leave the tooth. We explained to her that the tooth fairy probably wouldn't give her any money, if she didn't give her the tooth, but she was okay with that.
My baby is growing up! It's so hard to face that sometimes. I have to admit though, she sure looks just as cute with that tooth missing. :)

I'm sure my sisters will recognize the metal box that the tooth is in. It's the box that we would put our teeth in for the T.F. TRADITION!
what a grand tale!! She sounds so grown up and wise! I love the whole thing... especially the pictures of a patient daddy holding the dental floss...willing to do whatever Julia wanted. Sweet...
She looks so cute and grown up without her tooth. I will be sad when Jordan looses his, any day now!
I was going to point out that little box. Crazy that it's still around! How did n8 get a hold of it. For some reason I thought if anyone Britt or Andy would have it.....Very cool...
I love Jules smile. Isn't it fun having children, we'd be missing these great events.
Julia is looking more and more like her beautiful mommy every day...
