This year for Thanksgiving, we got together with friends and had a wonderful time! We were invited to our friends' (the Andrew's) house along with other friends, the Ellsworths. Everyone brought food to share. We made dressing, broccoli casserole, cranberry sauce & fruit salad and Nate made the ham on the Big Green Egg (yum!). Everything was SO GOOD! Thanksgiving is seriously my favorite meal! I love it!

The girls got in on the action...Julia helped with the cranberry sauce & Liliana helped with the fruit salad. Nate used a culinary torch on the ham to make the glaze. The kids wrote what they are thankful for on a poster, decorated place mats & had a great time playing together. Simon had peas and fell asleep while eating (so cute)! The men were big helpers in the clean up. Julia read to Lili and Elena at the end of the night. It was such a nice Thanksgiving. It's so wonderful to have good friends (a.k.a. "Texas family") to share holidays with when family is so far away and THAT is something for which I'm truly
THANKFUL.
