Making Christmas Tree Ornaments

The kids were invited to a friends' house to make ornaments. They had a great time and did an awesome job on their snowflakes! (Thanks Jenn!)

The 2nd Annual Gingerbread Night
When we lived in Utah, Nate's Mom & Dad would get everyone together over at their house and have a gingerbread house decorating night. We loved it so much, we decided to continue the tradition here. So, last year we invited our friends the Andrews over to decorate gingerbread houses. We all had so much fun, we decided we had to do it again this year and keep the tradition going. Hey, if you can say, "2nd Annual," it must be a tradition, right? The kids had their very own graham cracker houses to decorate. They loved getting creative (and eating all the candy). We all did! Nate made all the frosting and put together all the houses. He did great at helping the kids with the frosting too! Thanks Nate!

It's so much fun to get creative! Julia enjoyed decorating with (and eating) the black frosting.

We had so much fun! I hope we can all do it again next year! Thanks for letting me do most of the decorating Nate! Maybe next year you can do the decorating...uh, or maybe we'll just make two houses. ;)
